Inside Sales Representative – Building Materials

Monday - Friday

7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

$20.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with product inquiries, pricing, and order placement.
• Prepare accurate sales quotes, invoices, and customer orders.
• Process sales transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
• Provide knowledgeable customer service regarding metal building products and materials.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Verify product availability and communicate order status to customers.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain organized customer files and sales documentation.
• Assist with inventory inquiries and product stocking as needed.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform general office and administrative duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in the metal building industry is required.
• Previous sales, customer service, or counter sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and order entry systems.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications and measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
