Our client in Connecticut is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment starting Sep 1, 2026. This role involves structured daily shifts where you will be integral to patient care, performing pre-operative physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, assisting in surgery, ordering and interpreting tests, managing prescriptions, coordinating care, and conducting daily rounds.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform Pre-Op Physical Exams
• Conduct Suture Removal
• Diagnose Illnesses
• Treat Illnesses
• Order Tests
• Interpret Tests
• Assist in Surgery
• Write Prescriptions
• Coordinate Patient Care
• Perform Daily Rounding
• Place Central Venous and Dialysis Catheters
• Place Arterial Lines and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
• Conduct Endoscopic Retrieval
