Holiday Market - Dairy / Frozen Stocker

As the Frozen/Dairy Manager at Holiday Market, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are available and displayed neatly for our customers. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our frozen and dairy departments, ensuring top-notch customer service, efficient inventory management, and the highest standards of product quality. You will be responsible for managing a team, maintaining department profitability, and providing expert guidance on product selection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train a team of department staff, ensuring they follow the best practices for customer service, product preparation, and safety standards.

• Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring proper rotation and placement.

• Organize and maintain inventory in the stockroom and on the sales floor.

• Assist in receiving and unloading deliveries.

• Monitor product expiration dates and remove expired items.

• Documenting and reporting any damage to goods and products.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store.

• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting customers as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily tasks and goals.

Requirements:

• Experience in a department management or similar leadership role.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a cold environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

• A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.

• Weekends and holidays are mandatory as they are Holiday Market's busiest times.

Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications and discussed during the interview.
