General Manager

Porky Butts BBQ — Omaha, Nebraska

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of Porky Butts BBQ. This position leads the restaurant team, maintains high standards for food quality and guest service, manages labor and operational costs, and ensures the restaurant runs efficiently and profitably.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and understands that great hospitality starts with a great team. This person should be comfortable making decisions, solving problems, holding people accountable, and jumping in wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership .

The right General Manager doesn't wait for someone else to solve a problem. They see what needs to be done and take action. They care about the team, the guests, the food, and the success of the restaurant.

This person should be comfortable giving direction, receiving feedback, having difficult conversations when necessary, and creating an environment where employees know what is expected of them.

Most importantly, the General Manager should understand that Porky Butts BBQ is more than a restaurant—it's a team, a brand, and a family-owned business built around great food and great experiences.

  • Ownership can trust the General Manager to run the operation and make good decisions without being micromanaged.
