Description:
The role of the Sterile Processing Tech is to perform technical duties necessary for the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of supplies and equipment for the entire facility.
This is done according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and central sterile standards for all patient populations served.
The position involves working within a team environment while using strong attention to detail and strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Effective communication, critical thinking, and basic computer skills are also essential.
The Sterile Processing Tech will complete quarterly competencies as part of their responsibilities.
