Line Cook

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Line Cook to prepare delicious meals according to our menu. The Line Cook will be responsible for setting up workstations, preparing ingredients, cooking food to order, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.


Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Physical endurance to stand for long periods and lift heavy pots or pans
- Excellent time management skills
- Food handler's permit


Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards
- Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
