Why This Role Matters As a CNA or HHA on our hospice team, you’ll provide hands-on care and emotional support that brings peace, comfort, and connection to patients facing chronic illness or end-of-life care. Your presence matters just as much as your skills. Whether you’re helping a patient get ready for the day, offering companionship, or supporting family members through difficult moments, the care you provide leaves a lasting impact. What You’ll Do Assist patients with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene Support mobility, repositioning, transfers, and ambulation Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition Prepare meals and assist with feeding and hydration Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment Provide companionship, emotional support, and compassionate presence Assist with basic treatments and medication reminders as directed Document care accurately and communicate with the clinical team Support families with kindness, empathy, and professionalism Provide post-mortem care when needed What We’re Looking For CNA certification or completion of an approved HHA program At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred Hospice or home health experience is a plus Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift up to 75–100 lbs and remain active during shifts Ability to pass background screenings and required pre-employment checks Why Join Crown & Seasons Hospice?
