Build Your ABA Career with a Consistent Full-Time Daytime Schedule

TERI is seeking a full-time RBT to provide ABA and behavioral support within an NPA setting in Carlsbad. Unlike traditional in-home ABA positions that may require afternoon or evening availability, this opportunity offers a consistent daytime schedule with 6–7 hour shifts between approximately 7:45 AM–3:30 PM.

You'll work directly with students while collaborating with BCBAs, educators, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized behavioral programming, collect meaningful data, and help students build greater independence and success.

Your Role & Responsibilities –

• Provide direct ABA and behavioral support to students within an NPA setting under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), behavior reduction strategies, and skill acquisition programs
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data to monitor student progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Support students in developing communication, social, behavioral, functional, and independence skills throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral strategies and individualized programming.
• Respond appropriately to challenging behaviors using approved behavioral support and crisis intervention strategies when required.
• Participate in ongoing supervision, training, team meetings, and required documentation while maintaining TERI and professional standards.

Qualifications –

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• Experience providing ABA or behavioral support in a school, classroom, clinic, home, or community-based setting preferred.
• Experience supporting children or students with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or behavioral support needs preferred.
• Ability to consistently implement Behavior Intervention Plans, collect behavioral data, and follow BCBA-directed treatment protocols.
• Strong communication, professionalism, reliability, and ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Must successfully complete all required pre-employment clearances, training, and other position-specific requirements.

Pay –

$30.00 Hourly

Schedule

Approximately 6–7 hours per day

Shift schedules may include approximately 7:45 AM–2:30 PM or 8:15 AM–3:30 PM, based on program and student needs.
