About the Role:

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work alongside our talented team to help patients achieve their goals and overcome physical and emotional challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing therapy services to patients in our facility and in the community. Your strong communication skills will enable you to collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Occupational Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and goals
• Deliver occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and interventions to patients in our facility and in the community
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, assessments, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure effective care coordination
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and in-service workshops to stay updated on best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

• Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
• Current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy preferred
