Senior JD Edwards Developer

Role Overview:

As a Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software Engineer, this role focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality technology solutions within the JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne environment. The engineer will design, develop, and implement business applications to enhance daily operations. This position involves close collaboration with business analysts and fellow developers to translate operational needs into effective applications, sometimes leading development efforts and other times contributing expertise within a team. A critical aspect of the role is maintaining and supporting the JDE EnterpriseOne ecosystem to ensure its stability, optimization, and responsiveness to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain business applications using approved tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Create technical specifications and ensure quality through testing and documentation.
• Support and enhance existing applications to ensure reliability and performance.
• Manage work priorities and adhere to IT project management standards.
• Utilize technology capabilities to solve complex business challenges.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap for continuous improvement of systems.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in JDE development; 3+ years hands-on experience in multiple technical areas.
• Proficiency with Oracle JDE Tools and modules (Core Financials, Job Costing, AR/AP, Real Estate/Property Management).
• Experience with reporting technologies (SSRS, ReportsNow, JDE BI Publisher), client/server development, web services, and MS SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience in JDE Orchestrator design and development, including creating custom orchestrations, integrations, and automation workflows to streamline business processes.
• Knowledge of system development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SDLC) and ITIL-based service management.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in JDE development.
