DSHS WSH Registered Nurse 2 Western State Hospital is inviting Registered Nurses to join our nursing team. Responsibilities Develop, lead, document, and direct the clinical care carried out by professional and paraprofessional nursing personnel in compliance with applicable nursing standards of care and practice. Perform assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients’ medical and psychiatric needs with a focus on providing the highest patient‑focused quality care possible. Serve as the liaison between patients and their families to educate them regarding the treatment plan and develop long‑term therapeutic relationships. Qualifications Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State. Graduated from an accredited nursing school and one year of professional nursing experience or college‑level nursing education. Benefits and Compensation Shift differential pay for evening and night shifts. Eligible for a 5% premium pay for performing on‑site at least three days a week.
