Weekender Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Float Pool

University Hospitals is looking for talented and experienced registered nurses to join our compassionate care team in our ICU Float Pool. In this position you will work in one of our six ICU units or their step down units. Weekender Position Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels.

Qualifications

Position Requirements: Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (ie. Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients. 1 year of RN experience required

Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of Diploma/Associate's Degree in nursing from accredited program.

License Requirements: Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio. Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation
