Manager - PACE Consulting

Advisory is seeking a high-performing Manager to join our Provider Strategy and Care Transformation Practice. This role is ideal for an experienced consultant who thrives at the intersection of healthcare strategy, policy, business insights, and execution, and who can step onto live client engagements quickly, owning delivery across a broad mix of provider-focused work. You will partner with senior leaders to advise physician groups, health systems, post-acute and long-term care organizations, PACE programs, and aging-services innovators on the strategic and operational implications of Medicare, Medicaid, and value-based care programs and payment reform. Lead Client Engagements Own day-to-day delivery across multiple provider engagements, managing scopes, timelines, workplans, deliverables, and client communications. Translate complexpolicy, reimbursement, and business model information into clearbusiness impacts andactionablerecommendations for provider executives, boards, and operating teams. Produce polished, client-ready deliverables (strategic plans,policybriefs, market assessments, financial models, and compelling PowerPoint presentations and written materials) that turn complex analysis into compellingnarratives and visuals. Present findings and recommendations directly to clients;facilitateworking sessions and workshops with provider leadership. Ramp quickly onto new engagements with limited oversight, bringing structure, pace, and ownership to ambiguous problems from day one. Drive Analysis & Provider Insight Analyze legislation, regulations, and paymentpolicy(e.g., Medicare payment rules, PACE, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid LTSS, value-based payment, provider payment reform) and assessbusiness insights,financial impact, and otherstrategic and operational implications for provider clients. Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative research, including market scans, competitive landscape analyses, financial modeling, business case development, and strategic growth planning. Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into strategic insights; develop analytic frameworks and shells, identify trends, conduct data analysis, and draw signalsfrom large healthcare datasets where applicable (Medicare claims, Medicaid data,encounterdata, CMS public use files, EHR/clinical data). Monitor ongoing market, regulatory, andpolicydevelopments to keep client recommendationstimelyand relevant. Support Business Development & Grow the Practice Contribute to proposals, scoping conversations, andpursuitofworkfor new provider engagements, helping convert pipeline into sold work. Shape ATI's thought leadership through external publications, conference presentations, and commentary on provider strategy,policy, and market trends. Identifyreplicable methodologies and assets from delivery work that can be built into reusable practice IP. Mentor and develop analysts and junior team members; model strong consulting craft, structured problem-solving, andquality standards. What We’re Looking For 3to 7 years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, government healthcare programs, corporate strategy, or healthcare provider/value-basedcareorganizations, withdemonstratedgrowth into engagement leadership. Demonstratedexpertisein healthcare, with depth in one or more of the following: Traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage, value-based care, PACE, complex care, long-term care, or provider strategy/operations. Strong consulting craft, including structured problem-solving,hypothesis-driven analysis,polished writtenand visual communication,and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with pace and rigor. Proven ability to perform market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, business case development, and strategic growth planning. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; comfortable working with data, developing models, and interpreting insights. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft clear, compelling narratives and present confidently to senior executives and clients. Demonstrated ability to lead tasks,designand execute projects end-to-end,manageup and down effectively,and mentor junior team members. High levelof professional maturity, initiative, resourcefulness, and ownership; ability to comeupquickly on unfamiliar topics;andwillingness to pitch in andcontribute meaningfullyfrom the start. Preferred Experience Management consulting background at a top-tier firm with experience managing multiple concurrent client projects in a fast-pacedenvironment or equivalent experience in government healthcare programs. Directexperience working for, with, or alongside healthcare providers (hospitals, physician groups, post-acute and long-term care, PACE, aging-services organizations) on strategic, operational, or value-based payment initiatives. Direct exposure to value-based care models, managed care operations, technology and solution partners/vendors, drug reimbursement and pricingpolicy, or financial services intersecting with healthcare. Experience working with large healthcare datasets, including cleaning, managing, and analyzing complex sources. Technology strategy, includingbusiness and technicalrequirements gathering, gap analysis, system selection, and implementation. MBA or other advanced degree in a business-oriented discipline (Management-focused MPH, MPA/MPP, MHA, MS in Health Administration, economics, or related field).
