We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused OTR Box Truck Driver to join our team based in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and on time throughout the Midwest and surrounding states while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

● Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and efficiently.

● Transport and deliver freight on scheduled OTR routes.

● Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

● Load and unload freight as needed.

● Secure cargo to prevent damage during transit.

● Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection reports.

● Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

● Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, and delivery status.

● Keep the truck clean and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications:

● Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required if operating a non-CDL box truck).

● Clean driving record.

● At least 1 year of box truck or commercial driving experience preferred.

● Ability to travel over the road for multiple days at a time.

● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

● Strong work ethic, reliability, and time management skills.

● Must pass a background check and drug screening (if applicable).
