Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 12 Weeks | Night Shift (5:45 PM – 6:15 AM) | Schedule Varies

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 6:1 patient ratio across a 45-bed unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Deliver wound care as part of comprehensive patient management
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the MEDHOST EMR system
• Participate in floating to other units as required by staffing needs
• Adhere to unit dress code; dark navy blue scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Wound Care nursing
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with MEDHOST EMR system
• Experience in a combined MS/Tele environment with higher acuity patient populations
• Comfort with floating to various units as census and staffing needs dictate
