Delivery Driver

Overview Transport materials to customers. Responsibilities Safely drive truck or van to transport materials within a specified area. Verify loads against shipping papers and obtain signed receipts for delivered material. Scan each delivery into the system before leaving the warehouse. Maintain truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations. Determine the best route for timely delivery to satisfy customer expectations. Record delivery information and inspect truck equipment and supplies as required. Report any equipment deficiencies to ensure safe operation. Perform physical tasks required to lift and move inventory around the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks. Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company safety procedures. Assist with material handling responsibilities when not engaged in primary duties. Promote good customer relations and seek sales opportunities. Communicate customer feedback to management, including complaints, requests, returns, performance, competitive information, and potential opportunities. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. CDL not required, but must pass DOT medical exam. Steel-toed boots required. Work Shift and Hours Monday – Friday, 5:30am – 2:00pm (may vary depending on business needs). Compensation Starting at $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
