Quick Facts: Location: Marquette, MI 49855 Start Date: 07/13/2026 End Date: 07/28/2026 (potential for ongoing dates) Shift: Days, 6 a.m. – 6 a.m. (12-hour shifts) Hours/Week: 36 hours (or as assigned) Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certifications: State license/appropriate certifications required Experience: Previous neonatal intensive care experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $1.00 (please note this is a placeholder; pay package discussed upon application) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time as per all applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other eligible expenses What You’ll Do: Provide expert neonatal care for complex conditions, including respiratory distress syndrome, intrauterine growth restriction, jaundice, and sepsis Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, paracentesis, spinal taps, and exchange transfusion Manage ventilators including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy Support and guide families through high-stress situations with clear communication and emotional support Collaborate with the neonatal team to develop and implement care plans Ensure patient safety and adhere to all clinical standards and protocols What You Need: Valid licensure and certifications in neonatal or pediatric care Prior experience in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting, preferably with procedural skills listed Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment: This assignment at a leading facility in Marquette involves delivering highly specialized neonatal care for critically ill newborns.
