Alegeus Technologies, LLC the leading provider of employee benefits debit cards, allowing consumers easy and immediate access to their funds via electronic administration is growing. Alegeus Technologies develops and supports a complicated benefits software package utilizing real time payment network transaction systems.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASP.NET developer with a strong background in building scalable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external facing web applications. This person will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers and business resources to build highly-performing enterprise systems.

Major Responsibilities:

• Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2005 server side development including SSIS


• T-SQL (Transact SQL) Stored Procedures and Triggers


• The ideal candidate should possess some database administrative experience


• The ideal candidate should possess some experience working with Access applications and strong Excel skills


• Build new systems with .NET 4.0/C#/ASP.NET/ SQL Server 2008/WCF Web Services


• Develop new functionality on our existing software products.


• Participate in an experienced, energetic team and contribute on a defined development schedule.


• All other responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Six (+) years’ experience as a developer (lead developer would be a plus).


• Three (+) years’ experience with ASP.NET.


• Two (+) years working with SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred).


• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)


• Deep knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008/2010, ASP.NET, WCF Services and ADO.NET.


• Mobile development, Business Intelligence (BI) projects exposure preferred.


• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.


• Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).


• Ability to design, develop and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures.


• Experience with jQuery or similar technologies.


• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.


• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.


• Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.


• Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices


• Domain knowledge on payment processing, financial services systems, health insurance, healthcare IT systems, consumer driven healthcare, or employee benefits processing would be preferred.
