Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the area of Independence, MO is actively hiring a patient centered Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing behavioral health team! This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges in a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Help develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic response and side effects
• Monitor patient safety and documentation
• Educate families

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the state of Missouri or Compact
• Experience in behavioral health, assessments, crisis intervention, and admissions preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to work 12 hour shifts
