Senior Project ManagerWe are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience working within a mature program overseeing Security projects and experience in engaging directly with security teams. This is a 100% remote role working within a Waterfall environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with some or all of the following: end point protection experience, Secureonix SOAR, delivery of layered security, process oriented projects, IT Risk Management.Required Skills:SecuritySome or all of the following: End point protection experience, Secureonix SOAR, delivery of layered security, process oriented projects, IT Risk Management.Project ManagerPMPJob Duties:Defining the project charter, roles, tasks, milestones, budgets and measures of successDeveloping project estimates and plans to manage the end-to end project executionEnsuring client requirements are captured accurately and completelyCreating and maintaining project documentationFacilitating day-to-day coordination while adhering to standards and sponsor expectationsActing as the link between the assigned project resources and key stakeholdersEnsuring project closure including completion of lessons learned and required documentationUsing disciplined project management methodology to define scope, develop project plan, and execute projects that adhere to guidelines and deliver within cost and scheduleStrong cross-business unit/IT communication, influence and negotiation requiredResponsible for tracking project status and managing project issues and risks including:Monitoring projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress/quality, managing issue resolutionManaging the process to assess gaps and develop action plans to address these gapsMonitoring financial delivery and issue management processes, and escalating issuesPromoting and monitoring compliance activities with audit and information policiesDevelop robust project risk management plans to ensure timely delivery, testing and commissioning of all projects with no impact to business continuityResponsible for building and leading effective project teams including:Using problem-solving/critical thinking skills, and independent thinking to overcome challengesCommunicating to project team members, key stakeholders and sponsorsAdapting to cultural and organizational climates across global teamManaging individual work styles and development of project staffServing as a primary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives within a highly matrix environmentWorking with cross-functional team, contractors, and vendors to deliver critical projectsJob Requirements:PMP Certification7+ years project management experience in a large multi-unit organization5+ year experience overseeing large scale projects, global teams, project manager, and application leadsExperience overseeing Security projects and experience in engaging directly with security teams.Experience with some or all of the following: end point protection experience, Secureonix SOAR, delivery of layered security, process oriented projects, IT Risk Management.Experience using structured project management methodologies within a Waterfall environmentAdvanced project management skills. Knowledge of project management vocabulary and terminology.
