Senior Quality InspectorShift/Hours: As assigned, with the need for flexibility to meet production demands. Overtime may be required based on workload and deadlines.Pay: $20.00-$30.00/hrLocation: San Jose, CAExperience: 8-10+ years of progressive experience as a Senior InspectorWe are excited to share a new opportunity for a Senior Inspector located in San Jose, CA! This position is highly sought after and might not be available for long.Senior Inspector Job Duties include:Lead and conduct more complex First Article Inspections (FAI) and advanced quality inspections.Lead or actively participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to determine the disposition of non-conforming materials.Lead root cause analysis efforts and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering to implement effective corrective actions.Oversee the calibration of complex equipment and ensure strict adherence to calibration protocols.Manage quality improvement projects and provide crucial support during both internal and external audits.Train and mentor junior inspectors to enhance overall team performance and capabilities.Other duties as assigned.Senior Inspector Preferred Skills include:Advanced certifications, such as the ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), AWS Certified Weld Inspector, or similar credentials.Advanced expertise in metrology, including proficiency in calibrating complex equipment.A deep understanding of complex quality systems and statistical process control.Proven hands-on experience navigating audits and ensuring strict compliance.Proficiency in utilizing advanced statistical analysis tools to monitor and improve quality.Prior experience successfully leading cross-functional collaboration to address and resolve complex quality issues.Senior Inspector Requirements may include:8–10 years of experience in quality inspection, including leadership in quality improvement projects and team management.Practical experience working within a shop or manufacturing environment.Basic familiarity with measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and technical mathematics.A solid understanding of industry quality standards, such as ISO 9001.A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.Demonstrated ability to learn through on-the-job training, with a track record of progression based on practical skills and performance.Benefits of working with PrideStaff:Medical, Rx, and Wellness BenefitsDental and Vision Plan OptionsShort-term Disability401(k) Retirement PlanHoliday PayJoin Us.PrideStaff Company OverviewPrideStaff wants you to succeed!
