The Regional Operational Risk Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational risk management framework across CBG markets. The role partners business and functional stakeholders to identify, assess, monitor and mitigate key operational risks while ensuring adherence with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

The incumbent will drive regional risk governance and provide independent challenge, advisory and oversight on operational risk matters, including emerging risks, third-party dependencies, business continuity, conduct risks and strategic initiatives.

The role also serves as a key interface between regional business management, location risk teams and Group Risk Management to strengthen risk management capabilities and promote consistent practices across the franchise.

• ### Drive operational risk governance, its tools and practices across CBG locations, ensuring alignment with risk management standards and consistency across franchise.
• ### Provide risk advisory , review and challenge on initiatives and business activities to ensure risk-informed decision making and control effectiveness.
• ### Oversee risk assessments from the various risk metrics such as key risk indicators, risk events and RCSA and ensure effective remediation of identified control gaps.
• ### Support senior management and governance forums through timely risk reporting, analysis and escalation of key risk issues.
• ### Strengthen operational resilience, third-party risk management and business continuity capabilities across the franchise.
• ### Promote strong risk and control culture through risk awareness programs and sharing of learnings and best practices.

• ### Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accountancy, or related disciplines.
• ### 10 - 12 years of experience in operational risk management, audit, compliance, control, governance or related functions within banking or financial services, mostly within retail banking preferred.
• ### Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks, governance practices and process controls.
• ### Experience supporting multiple countries or regional banking operations is preferred.
• ### Familiarity with operational resilience, outsourcing/third-party risk management, business continuity management and conduct risk management.
• ### Familiarity with regulatory expectations particularly consumer banking space advantageous.
• ### Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across functions/locations to achieve operational risk management objectives.
• ### Good risk sensing and affinity to data use and analysis.
