Licensed Practical Nurse - LTC

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The Licensed Practical Nurse position is responsible for assessing residents, administering medications, reporting any changes in conditions to physicians, updating family members, and assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Essential Job Duties:
- Administer medications to residents while adhering to the Five Rights protocol.
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
- Notify the charge nurse of any changes in resident conditions.
- Assist CNAs in responding to call lights and other tasks as needed.
- Update physicians and family members regarding changes in resident conditions promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold and maintain a valid Wisconsin LPN license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Less than 1 year of related work experience is acceptable, with 1+ years preferred.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
