About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Business Development to lead transformative initiatives in the insurance and risk management sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic partnerships. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, consultants, and key decision-makers, as well as collaborating with internal teams to align sales strategies with organizational objectives. The AVP will also be tasked with analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for tailored solutions, and contributing to the creation and execution of sales plans that reflect regional market dynamics. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 6-8 years' experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record of achieving targets and building client relationships. Experience in the insurance or risk management industry is preferred, and experience with Third Party Administrator (TPA) services is highly advantageous. The role requires strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as proficiency in Salesforce and Excel. The ideal candidate will be able to travel up to 50% and should be high-energy and resilient, capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
