The CNC Machinist will operate and maintain various CNC machines within a large team environment, focusing on producing precision parts using 3-axis and 5-axis machines. This role requires setup, calibration, and quality inspection to ensure manufacturing standards are met. The position offers opportunities for advancement and cross-training, supporting professional growth and skill development.
Responsibilities
- Operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines including lathes and mills
- Set up and calibrate machines for precision manufacturing
- Perform quality inspections and maintain quality control standards
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide machining processes
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machining
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of CNC programming
- Skilled in precision measurement techniques
- Experience with blueprint reading and machine setup
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with quality control processes
