About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 48 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all required before start date), ENPC (to be obtained within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting; teamwork mentality; flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department Description: The role involves providing critical care and rapid response to patients in the emergency setting. A commitment to teamwork and the ability to coach and provide feedback in real time is essential. Nurses will experience a high-volume environment and care for patients in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. The patient ratio is typically 4:1, and may increase on behavioral holds. Nurses will work with technical staff and have access to a variety of medical equipment. Documentation will be done via an established electronic health record system. Floating within the Emergency Department may be required, but not outside of this area. Candidates should be prepared for a schedule that requires every other weekend. The environment is known for its teamwork and welcoming atmosphere, serving a diverse community.
