Land Surveying Project Manager

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)

An established surveying firm is seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to lead office operations and manage surveying projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and experience overseeing surveying deliverables from field data collection through final mapping.

Responsibilities

Manage surveying projects, office operations, and project deliverables.
Prepare and review record maps, as-builts, topographic surveys, and subdivision plans.
Develop 3D surface models and prepare data for earthwork quantity calculations.
Perform construction stakeout calculations and coordinate field surveying activities.
Utilize surveying equipment and software, including Carlson, Civil 3D, TDS, robotic instruments, and GPS/RTK systems.
Ensure accuracy and quality of survey documentation.

Qualifications

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
10+ years of relevant land surveying experience.
Proficiency in Carlson and Civil 3D drafting software.
Experience with record mapping, construction stakeout, topographic surveys, subdivisions, and 3D surface modeling.
