Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 4x10 Hours (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) | Onsite | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Serve in a Charge RN capacity, managing daily OR operations including prioritization of trauma, emergent, urgent, and add-on cases
• Perform circulating and/or scrubbing duties across a broad range of surgical specialties including General, Bariatrics, Trauma, GYN, Urology, Robotics, Ortho, Neuro, Podiatry, Plastics, ENT, Thoracic, Vascular, Cardio, and Endoscopy
• Communicate effectively with Anesthesia teams, Surgeons/Providers, Nursing staff, and Leadership
• Participate in rotational weekend coverage and on-call shifts; expected 5–6 on-call shifts per 4-week period, including one weekend call; must be available to arrive on-site within 30 minutes of being called in
• Float within the OR specialty and to a sister campus as needed
• Document and navigate patient care using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact License required at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a circulating and/or scrubbing OR role
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Charge RN role managing daily OR/Trauma operations
• Proficiency with DaVinci robotics and general OR case management required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address); locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless otherwise specified

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center environment
• First-time travelers with strong general OR and robotics backgrounds will be considered
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
