We use laser welding, TIG welding, and cladding to repair, modify, and assemble high-precision components, including injection molding dies, tooling, and aerospace and medical parts.

Position Overview

We are hiring a skilled TIG welder with Tool & Die experience to join our 2nd shift team in Meadville. You'll do both TIG and laser welding. No laser experience is needed. We'll train the right candidate. Strong TIG fundamentals and attention to detail matter most.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld Tool & Die components to tight tolerances
• Laser weld components (training provided)
• Select the right material, weld wire, and filler for each job
• Prepare parts for welding: grinding, cleaning, and fit-up
• Work from complex blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions
• Measure, verify, and document dimensions and tolerances
• Choose the right welding approach for each application
• Inspect finished parts for quality
• Help improve shop processes

What We're Looking For

• TIG welding experience, ideally on Tool & Die components
• Able to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Creative problem solver who thinks "outside the box" on tough repairs
• Self-starter who works well independently with minimal supervision

Position Requirements

• Lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Sit for extended periods
• Pass a vision screening
• Perform repetitive, high-precision work
• Available for overtime during peak workloads or special projects
