Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 × 11.5 hour shifts per week, with the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including a 60-minute unpaid lunch. Alternate weekends are required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The candidate will represent Ancillary Surgical Techs and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in various stages of labor and delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with both mother-baby care and high-risk antepartum patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care for active labor and complications.
• Manage earlier stage labor with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Offer specialized care for high-risk antepartum patients (1:1 to 1:2 ratio).
• Assist in triage, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2-3 RNs.
• Support in the PACU and labor & delivery operatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Must have experience in mother-baby care.
• Previous travel experience is required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM (expires 07/09/2026).
