SURGICAL LASER TECHNOLOGIST (PRN)

We are looking for candidates to add to our mobile lithotripsy team! As a laser tech, you will be trained to operate a laser in an operating room setting and assist the physician during a ureteroscopy (URS) case. This specialized field puts you in control of treating patients directly, with the guidance of a Urologist. You would be trained by highly skilled technologists that have been in the field for many years. Skills and Responsibilities Train in transporting medical equipment to facilities, including loading/unloading equipment for procedures. Operate laser in operating room and assist physician during URS cases. Document required case activities in accordance with company policies while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Compensation Pay Range: $30-$35 per hour Schedule Afternoons, evenings and potentially weekends. Requirements Operating room experience preferred. Surgical technician experience or sterile processing experience a plus. Ability to push, pull and/or manipulate over 100 pounds of medical equipment. Strong communication skills in communication with a variety of audiences.
