The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers professional development, leadership training, and meaningful work experience at non-profits tackling some of our nation's most pressing policy challenges all over the United States. Early-career professionals including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates will be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States through the duration of the program. The Law & Economics Center (LEC) at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School is a national center for research and education that focuses on timely and relevant economic analysis of legal and public policy issues. To fulfill its education mission, the LEC provides dynamic training programs in law and economics to sophisticated audiences including judges, academics, lawyers, government authorities and staff members, and attorneys general and their senior staff.

About the Role

The LEC Program Intern will be responsible for providing administrative support to all divisions of the Center. This will be an in-person position, at our office on the Antonin Scalia Law School campus (Arlington, VA). Duties will include maintaining and developing the LEC’s contact database by researching judges, academics, government authorities and staff members, and attorneys general and their senior staff; preparing for Spring 2027 events; drafting content for website and marketing materials; and other administrative duties as needed.

This is an onsite role, open to part-time or full-time candidates.

Stand Together Fellowships pays participants a stipend of either $7,500 for full-time participants working approximately 32 hours per week at the partner organization, or $5,500 for part-time participants working approximately 24 hours per week at the partner organization. Attending the entirety of the online and on-site KIP programming is required for both full and part-time participants.
