Data Center Logistics Specialist III

Role PurposeCoordinate and direct daily activities across assigned teams (specialists versus clerk). Drive team execution through daily performance tracking and reporting. Coordinate and delegate resources to resolve most issues. Owns process discipline and leads safety culture for data center.Key AccountabilitiesBe able to complete and train to the role and responsibility of a Data Center Specialist and Data Center ClerkAssign work based on priority, SLA, and workload balancingEnsure all operational workflows (receiving, inventory, rack delivery, and decommissioning) are executed efficientlyMonitor real-time performance and adjust work assignments throughout the shiftTrack daily performance using scorecards, dashboards, or trackersCoach and train team productivity, accuracy, and SLA adherenceIdentify performance gaps and take corrective action in real timeProvide shift-level reporting (recaps, escalation summaries, and performance updates)Break down daily/shift plans into actionable tasksAnticipate bottlenecks and adjust tasks proactivelyEnsure alignment with upstream/downstream teams (transport, tech ops, and inventory control)Troubleshoot workflow disruptions, delays, or errorsResolve issues within authority and escalates appropriately when neededPrevent recurrence through corrective actions and communicationsProvide on-the-floor coaching to improve productivity and accuracySupport onboarding and training of new team membersReinforce SOP adherence and best practicesAct as primary point of contact for shift-level execution issuesCommunicate status, risks, and priorities to leadership and partner teamsCoordinate with tech teams, transport, and inventory control on dependenciesEnsure clean handoffs between shifts or teamsOversee inventory accuracy and discrepancy resolutionEnsure proper execution of inventory transactions and trackingValidate adherence to SOPs and operational standardsIdentify and address safety risks immediately (leading by example in safety behaviors)Implement process changes directed by leadershipShare best practices across shifts or teamsConduct shift start/end meetingsRequired Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent, required.Ability to read, write, and speak English.Previous experience in a data center desirable.Our Organization is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
