Radiologic Technologist I

Role Summary Performs imaging procedures in accordance with standards, policies, and organizational values, ensuring patient understanding and safety. Key Responsibilities Reviews patient history, schedules procedures, and educates patients about exams and equipment. Prepares and administers contrast media or medications within scope, monitoring patient condition. Prepares equipment, selects imaging parameters, performs quality control, troubleshoots equipment issues, and ensures safety standards. Positions patients, conducts imaging procedures, analyzes results, resolves image quality issues, and transmits images; may work with students. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R). Specialty certifications if applicable. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
