As Ohio’s largest urgent care network, we provide accessible, affordable healthcare solutions including Urgent Care, Primary Care, Wellness, Weight Loss, Occupational Health, Employer Services, and more. Our Employer Services division helps small businesses offer affordable healthcare access for employees — especially companies that may not currently provide traditional insurance benefits. Through customized employer healthcare plans, businesses can provide their teams with access to urgent care, primary care, wellness services, and occupational health support at predictable costs. About the Role We are looking for an outgoing, motivated, people-focused professional to represent Hometown in the local business community. This is a relationship-driven field sales role designed for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building connections, and being active in the community every day. You’ll spend your time visiting local businesses, introducing Hometown’s employer healthcare solutions, and helping business owners find affordable healthcare options for their employees. This opportunity is ideal for someone earlier in their sales career who is ambitious, confident starting conversations, and excited to grow professionally. What You’ll Do Visit local businesses throughout your assigned territory including restaurants, salons, retail stores, construction companies, service providers, manufacturers, and other small businesses Introduce Hometown’s Employer Healthcare Programs to business owners and decision-makers Conduct consultative conversations focused on employee healthcare access and cost savings Generate leads through daily in-person outreach, networking, referrals, and community engagement Build and manage an active pipeline of prospective employer groups Maintain consistent daily outreach and follow-up activity Attend Chamber of Commerce events, networking functions, and local business events Track sales activity and pipeline progress within CRM software Partner with internal enrollment and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience Who You Are Friendly, confident, and professional in face-to-face interactions Naturally personable and comfortable meeting new people Motivated by goals, growth opportunities, and relationship-building Organized and self-directed with strong follow-through Comfortable introducing yourself to local businesses and starting conversations Positive, resilient, and solutions-oriented Someone who enjoys being active in the community rather than sitting behind a desk all day Comfortable staying active throughout the day with outreach, follow-up, and community engagement Required Demonstrated experience in outside B2B sales, field sales, or territory-based selling Comfort with cold outreach — walking into businesses unannounced and starting conversations Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed at IRS rate) Strong verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly with small business owners Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule and priorities without daily supervision Persistent and results-driven — able to hear 'no' many times and keep going Preferred Prior experienceof selling products or servicesto businesses. The range of services may include products,employee benefits, payroll services, or recurring revenue products Background at Verizon Business, Paychex, ADP, Heartland, AFLAC, Colonial Life, or a health insurance agency Existing network of small business contacts in your Ohio territory Experience with CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent) Pay: $45,000–$55,000 base + uncapped commission On-Target Earnings: $65,000+ Year 1 Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor #J-18808-Ljbffr
