Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Ambulatory OR)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | No weekends | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in an ambulatory operating room setting across a 9-OR facility
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties within scope of practice to support surgical cases
• Float within the perioperative department as needed to meet facility demands
• Complete cases as required, including one late shift per four-week period
• May be required to precept care team members in the operating room
• During hurricane season (June–November), may be assigned to emergency response teams as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (SC license must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a radiation badge (provided by agency)
• No first-time travelers accepted for this role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in one or more surgical specialties: Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, or Surgical Oncology
• Prior experience in an ambulatory or high-volume perioperative environment
