Solution Engineer Senior - Simulation Process & Data Management

We are looking for a talented Solution Engineer Senior-Simulation Process & Data Management to join our team specializing in Systems/IT for our Corporate organization in Columbus, IN . Optimizes vendor and partner performance by collaborating with IT service providers to resolve issues, refine functionality, and ensure solutions meet quality, security, and performance standards. Drives continuous improvement and adoption by recommending process enhancements, promoting standard application capabilities, and supporting scalable, efficient solution design. Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Intermediate level of relevant work experience required. 3-5 years of experience. Core Responsibilities Lead solution design and delivery for SPDM / engineering data platforms such as Ansys Minerva, Aras Innovator, Esteco Volta, Granta MI, and related tools. Translate business and technical requirements into fit‑for‑purpose solution designs, workflows, integration specs, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans. Guide development and vendor teams through configuration, customization, integration, testing, release readiness, and production support. Design and support integrations and data movement across SPDM applications, PLM, vault/storage, compute/HPC, databases, and enterprise systems. Serve as the technical SME and primary point of contact for assigned applications, driving issue resolution, root‑cause analysis, design reviews, and continuous improvement. Required Skills 3–7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, software engineering, technical delivery, or enterprise platform implementation. Hands‑on experience with SPDM, PLM, or engineering data platforms such as Ansys Minerva, Aras Innovator, Esteco Volta, Granta MI, Teamcenter, Windchill, or comparable systems. Strong solution design and integration skills, including REST APIs, JSON, SQL, batch/file‑based transfers, workflow configuration, and data synchronization patterns. Experience leading or coordinating software development teams, vendor teams, or cross‑functional technical delivery in Agile or hybrid environments. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills across application, integration, database, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
