What you'll be doing Perform full dimensional and visual inspections independently using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and height gauges Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (ASME Y14.5) Support AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) and document results Initiate nonconformance reports (NCRs) and support disposition activities Maintain inspection records and traceability per AS9100D requirements Support in-process, receiving, and final inspection activities as assigned Equipment and software You'll work with: Hand inspection tools — calipers, micrometers, indicators, and height gauges (core daily equipment) CMM — occasional exposure is a plus, not required on day one What we're looking for Required: 3+ years of dimensional inspection experience in a machining or precision manufacturing environment Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation (ASME Y14.5) Proficiency with hand inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges) Accurate, disciplined documentation of inspection results Preferred: AS9102 First Article Inspection experience CMM exposure (operation or basic programming) Aerospace, AS9100, or NADCAP experience Pay, benefits and schedule Pay: $28–$35/hr, commensurate with demonstrated inspection capability. Final level and pay are based on demonstrated competency, not tenure. Schedule: Day shift, on-site.
