Key Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on modules, boards, panels, frames, cables, and other assemblies or subassemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, drawings, specifications, changes, and work orders
- Set up and perform manual and automated assembly operations and portable machine functions
- Use hand and power tools, jigs, saws, drilling machines, fasteners, torquing tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Perform drilling, sealing, fastener installation, varnishing, painting, countersinking, and related structural assembly activities
- Conduct continuity checks and quality inspections on work in process and completed assemblies
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies according to specifications
- Perform fabrication, functional testing, and required checks during assembly progression and final assembly
- Complete required data-gathering transactions to support assembly progression
- Obtain and move required parts, materials, tools, and assemblies
- Identify, report, and investigate discrepancies involving parts, procedures, tools, or assembly sequences
- Document discrepancies according to established specifications, processes, and procedures
- Perform routine minor machine maintenance and basic preventive maintenance duties
- Move products within the manufacturing area using assigned equipment and complete required transactions
- Support continuous product flow by training, coaching, and assisting other employees
- Train to become MVP qualified
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership, with training and certification provided when required
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- High School Diploma/GED or WorkKeys Assessment completion
- Health & Safety Training
- General Aircraft Familiarization
