Seasonal Snow Laborer & Snow Zone Manager Location: Commerce City, CO Responsibilities Perform maintenance, move equipment, and complete general outdoor tasks. Assist with snow removal, including shoveling, plowing, and applying salt or ice‑melt to driveways, walkways, and entrances. Operate landscaping and snow removal equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools as needed. Maintain equipment through basic cleaning and regular upkeep. Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures. Communicate any issues, hazards, or maintenance needs to management. Work with the Territory Manager and snow division team to assess performance on previous storms, identify areas for improvement, develop corrective strategies, and coordinate with dedicated snow laborers to ensure supplies, vehicles, equipment, and crews are ready. During Storm Assume full responsibility for a zone of 8–12 properties. Handle documentation of start/stop times, use the SiteFotos mobile app for proof of work, coordinate labor crews, and ensure all labor hours are invoiced to the customer. Prioritize work based on storm timing and site needs, create efficient cleanup routes, and serve a de‑icing truck as required. Work with Territory Manager to solve problems and redistribute crews. Post Storm Conduct daily inspections to identify and remediate thaw‑refreeze issues; hold the team accountable for completing quality‑control routes, documentation, and SiteFotos. Process timecards and invoice paperwork promptly to get workers paid and customers invoiced quickly. Work with the Territory Manager to restore properties between storms and keep staff ready for upcoming events. Work Environment Primarily outdoors in field, frequently exposed to weather, noise, and other elements. Must be able to execute snow‑management services for long hours and attend weekly snow operations meetings (in person or via video). Managing teams, crews, and subcontractors to deliver quality services. Must be able to work overnight hours effectively. Safety‑sensitive role requiring high attention to detail and awareness. Schedule Open availability; flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Day shift, night shift, and on‑call duties. Requirements 2+ years of operations management (preferred). Experience working outdoors in snow removal operations (preferred). Valid driver’s license. Good written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus. Proficiency in Spanish (preference). Highly organized; production and planning skills required. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including snow, cold, and heat. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts during snow events. Prior experience with landscaping or snow removal preferred but not required. Ability to operate or learn to operate snow removal and landscaping equipment (shovels, blowers, plows, mowers). Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to follow safety protocols. Compensation Hourly rate: $25.00 per hour with a $10 snow differential.
