Key Responsibilities\nAs a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, you will:

- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, crafting tailored treatment plans that focus on individual goals and growth. \n
- Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions using diverse modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to meet clients' unique needs. \n
- Set and monitor therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, providing consistent support as they navigate their progress through the therapeutic process. \n
- Offer teletherapy services for clients preferring virtual sessions or those facing barriers to in-person attendance, ensuring equitable access to care. \n
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for each session, meeting ethical standards while tracking client progress and facilitating effective treatment. \n
- Participate in continuous professional development, seeking opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with advancements in mental health practices. \n
You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health challenges. Qualifications\nTo be successful in this role, you will need:

- A current and valid license to practice in the state of Washington as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trusting therapeutic relationships with clients. \n
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions and care. \n
- Organizational and time-management capabilities, ensuring effective handling of caseload and associated administrative responsibilities. \n
Candidates with prior experience in trauma-informed care, substance use issues, or working within multidisciplinary teams are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health records will also be advantageous.
