Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | Every other weekend required, may exceed to meet unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU serving approximately 190 births per month
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic electronic health records-
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements including holiday commitments, working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including floating to sister facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• No background or Nursys hits; facility does not accept either

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic charting system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Familiarity with Level III NICU protocols and high-acuity neonatal care
