This individual provides comprehensive speech and language therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, in therapy settings across the health system, including their families/caregivers. Services include, but are not limited to, comprehensive evaluation and treatment of cognitive, communication and swallowing limitations.## Nature and Scope## Minimum QualificationsRequirements - Required and/or Preferred| **Name** | **Description** || --- | --- || Education: | Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively. Appropriate education to obtain and maintain Speech Language Pathology licensure. Recent graduates who have applied for the registration examination may be considered for provisional appointment. || Experience: | None required. Applicants with physical disabilities experience, specialty certification or experience in one or more specialty areas is preferred. || License(s): | Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Speech Language Pathology license. Provisional License acceptable until State of Nevada Speech Language Pathology license is issued.
