General Psychiatrist opening in Fargo, ND

Seeking a BC/BE General Psychiatrist for on-site services in Fargo, North Dakota.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, W-2 employed position
• On-site practice only
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Shared call rotation with approximately 2 weekends per quarter

Patient Population

• Adult and Adolescent patients
• Opportunities in:
  • Inpatient Psychiatry
  • Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient Setting

• Conduct new patient admissions and evaluations
• Perform follow-up visits and medication management
• Complete discharge planning and summaries
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings

PHP/IOP Setting

• Provide psychiatric care for adult and/or child/adolescent patients
• Conduct evaluations and medication management visits
• See outpatient patients assigned to PMHNPs when payer requirements necessitate physician involvement

Volume

• Average daily caseload of approximately 14-22 patients
