Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, significantly reducing and/or eliminating the demands to travel.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web-based applications.Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java/PythonCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and derive test scenariosPerform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools.Manage test cases, defects, and execution tracking in JIRA and Octane.Design and optimize SQL queries for backend/data validationParticipate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).Ensure quality standards, reporting, and continuous improvement of automation processes.This role requires being onsite with the client 3 days per week in Jersey City or Pennington, NJ. This role also requires 5 days away mandate per quarter by the client.Basic Qualifications:A minimum of 7 years of experience in QA and test automation engineeringAssociates Degree or greaterPreferred Qualifications:Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver for automationProficiency in Java and/or Python programmingSolid knowledge of SQL for data validationExperience with test management tools (Octane, JIRA)Expertise in automation framework development (POM, BDD, Data Driven, Hybrid)Experience in script development and execution across test cyclesStrong understanding of Agile methodologiesExperience with Playwright automation frameworkExposure to Gen AI adoption/use cases in testing (test generation, self-healing scripts, etc.)Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
