Teflon Assembly LeadEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assembles PTFE hose products, partially or completely, working at a benchPerform bench and machine operations such as hose preparation and assembly of low, medium and high pressure PTFE hose for any type of commercial hose application.Read and interpret complicated blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions of PTFE assemblies.Determine from blueprints and layout proper cut lengths, finish lengths and proper sequence of assembly and swagging and crimping.Exercise good judgment in choice of correct tooling to produce desired finished products.Keep work area and tooling clean and orderly.Must feel comfortable working in a team environment.Know how to prioritize work and react to special situations that arise.Perform job in a safe and proper manner.Required to use independent judgment when performing and planning to perform his/her tasks.Perform other related duties that are required by management.Be able to demonstrate correct methods of manufacturing in the production area to employees and develop standard work procedures.Assist in the training of new employees in the classification.Guide and assist employees when management is not available.Contact key personnel as necessary.Help prioritize and plan work load in the department to run more efficiently.Assist with process improvements and process efficiency.Assist engineers with process and quality issues.QualificationsMust have at least 1 year of Teflon experience.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
