Industrial Engineer IIAs an Industrial Engineer you will complete moderately complex industrial engineering assignments under general supervision and performs statistical analysis of data to provide information to meet and improve production flow and standard times.You will do this byContinuously optimizes direct and indirect manufacturing labor and in-plant material flow through the use of industrial engineering methods including; line balancing, time studies, in-plant and external material flow Recommends designs and helps implements optimal station layouts that support the operatorDrives towards sustainable solutions by assisting with developing standard workflows for new and existing products while considering safety and efficiencySupports safety performance of the manufacturing area through the design of ergonomic solutions for the different operations as well as for material handlingRecommends plan for every part approach to new product launchesRecommends improvements and/or modifications for sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related mattersPromotes strategy deployment by completing Bottleneck Analysis and Value Stream Mapping. Performs other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fieldMinimum of three years of relevant experienceStrong Knowledge of engineering concepts, practices and procedures engineering standards and systemsKnowledge of product launch management systemsMust possess strong team, leadership, and interpersonal skills to interact with and motivate a diverse group of peopleUnderstands National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) guidelinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to act with a sense of urgencyFluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or locationBriggs and StrattonFor this position, the expected base annual salary range is $95,000-130,000commensurate with experience.
