Job Title: Quality Control Technician II | Req ID: 16555 HR Contact: Roscoe Chambers Location: Saugus Plant MA ABOUT THE ROLE Collects samples and performs accurate quality control testing to ensure product quality. Provides verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner. Assists manager with customer service issues as directed. Certifies results of laboratory findings. Provides QC support on various residential and commercial projects WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all workenvironments and areas. Ensures that all testing is conducted efficiently and consistently to ensure accurate results. Prepare required documents with test results to be presented to production personnel and quality control management. Maintains mix designs as required by DOT or local city/county specifications or to ensure accuracy ofproducts used in mix. Records, analyzes, certifies and prepares summaries of findings. Maintains records of test results usingvarious databases. Provide technical support for production. Assist in the investigation and testing, and sampling of raw materials and finished products to help solvequality problems. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit thesebehaviors. Works closely with the Sales and Operations departments to ensure a timely accurate delivery ofproducts. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Education: High school diploma or equivalent Additional Education Preferred: Associate's degree Required Work Experience: 3-5 year Required Training/Certifications: State regulated or industry certifications, as required Additional Requirements Ability to work various hours including weekends and nights. Excellent math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, rations and percentages. Detailed oriented Able to prioritize work Valid Driver’s License, Clean Driving Record Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approvedPersonal Protection Equipment , including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicablelaw, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator sealmeets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
