Adjunct Instructor - Avionics

Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Adjunct Instructor (Avionics) position in the Industrial & Transportation Technologies department of the Academic & Student Affairs division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College’s main campus, just south of Downtown Atlanta. Responsibilities Teach evening avionics classes. Prepare syllabus and other materials such as PowerPoint presentations used for classroom instruction and assist with curriculum development. Set up course (shells) in Blackboard. Manage classroom by logging attendance, reporting no‑shows, assigning and reporting grades in a timely manner; grade student assignments and submit final grades. Advise and counsel students, maintain appropriate advisement records, and assist with recruitment efforts. Attend department and other meetings associated with the avionics program as requested. Maintain professional qualifications as appropriate for the field and as described by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Policy Manual. Follow rules and regulations as described by the TCSG Policy Manual and other policies and procedures established by the institution. Support the mission and vision of the college, program and TCSG. Perform other program‑related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree or higher in Avionics or Electronics from an accredited college or university. Demonstrated FCC or CET licenses. Post‑secondary teaching experience is a plus. Must possess a positive attitude, excellent oral and written communication skills, well‑developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
