Heavy Equipment Operator

Operates a variety of heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of a variety of materials. Conducts routine safety and mechanical inspections to ensure assigned equipment is in good condition to operate, submitting required paperwork on a timely basis. Ensures the safety of individuals working around equipment to prevent injury; and observing hand signals. Always observing safety requirements. Assists crew with general laborer responsibilities as required to ensure customer satisfaction. Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities. Mechanical aptitude – to be able to perform minor/routine maintenance when necessary. Ability to follow instructions.
